Notes for and from Office Hours

Gestures

• Press button on racquet handle
  • Like guitar hero button press
  • Each button is programmed to a note
  • Follows note order of guitar
    • Higher notes are closer to the head of the racquet (guitar body equivalent)
  • Questions:
    • How many buttons do we need?
    • Behavior
      • Press plays one note and controls velocity
      • Note plays when pressed at set bpm at consistent velocity
        • Reminiscent of tennis ball bouncing back and forth like a consistent rally
• Right hand “strums” across tennis racquet face
  • Sounds
  • Sensors
    • Guitar hero switch style
      • roller switch or rocker switch
      • Roller switch and add a handle onto it
    • Strings control notes in the chord
• Other ideas:
  • Set bpm by hitting frame of racquet
  • Tennis ball microphone?
  • Sampling? Looping?
