What kind of exhibits would you imagine would be there? Overview

Visit this 1 bedroom apartment rental in what in 2024 was known as Brooklyn, New York! You’ll be invited to explore a staged version of the apartment of the “resident”, a millennial grad student in the year 2024.

Themes

• This museum aims to be immersive and personal, leaving visitors thinking about themes that were type of mind for the resident such as:
  • Nostalgia, Surveillance, Technology, Capitalism

Wayfinding

• Led by a real estate agent who shows you the apartment as if you’re viewing it as the current resident prepares to move out.
• Groups of 1-4 are encouraged
• Visitors are tracked using the geolocation on the watch as they move through the apartment.

Questions for the Visitors

• How would you make this apartment feel like your home?
• What can you tell about the resident from the way she decorated?
• What questions would you ask the agent before renting this apartment?

Pre-Visit

• Visitors will have to navigate a website that will be in the style of 2024. There they will go through a form and speak with an AI chat agent. That agent will schedule a time for them to view the apartment!
